Great performance and design, we are very happy with this refrigerator. We hope to have it almost as long as our previous GE refrigerator which was operating flawlessly at 25 years of age.

Decent smaller fridge

I wanted a fridge for the garage. It had to fit a very specific footprint and I wanted a fridge with Energy Star rating. This fridge fit those requirements and because it was dinged on the door I got it at a good price (for the garage, who cares). No issues with the size and it ran perfectly for about a month. Then one morning I awoke to an anchor rather than a refrigerator. No cooling, not even any lights. I made an appointment with GE for repair and was scheduled for two days later. It turned out to be a malfunction with the wiring block for an external troubleshooting computer. The repair guy was really good and didn’t give up easily. He was able to bypass that issue so I had a working fridge while he ordered the part. It took another 10 days for GE to return to install the new part but that was no big deal since the fridge was operational. This was probably a one off. Fortunately, I’d discovered the outage pretty early and didn’t lose any items as everything could be moved to the primary fridge. I’ve also invested in fridge and freezer thermometers now to further hedge against loss.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great value for a counter-depth refrigerator

I needed a new, energy efficient refrigerator that would fit easily into a smaller- sized kitchen, and this particular GE model works very well. Good value & nice looking refrigerator that complements the other GE appliances on my kitchen. The only drawback is the freezer space is a bit too small.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Interior water service

I love the look of the appliance, however, the freezer area is a lot smaller than I thought. I love the interior water service. No more mineral build up on the outside.

I have a small apartment, and this stainless steel refrigerator fit perfectly in my petite kitchen. I am very pleased with the function of the appliance. There is condensation/Slash water dripping down the center flaps and the water is collecting on the rubber seal of the freezer. Is this a result of the doors not being aligned or mounted correctly? how do I fix this?
