Ice maker broke within two months

I’ve had my fridge for two months and my ice maker is already not making ice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To troubleshoot the issue, please ensure that the water line is turned on, the freezer is cold enough, and the ice cubes are not piled up, causing the ice maker to turn off. Stay away from GE

This is the second one in less than 2 years. The fridge would not read the RFID filter or bypass plug. GE extended my wait for a bypass plug until after the warranty was expired. Service came out and deemed the unit unrepairable. We had to pay, at a reduced price, for a new fridge. This is the last GE product we, and our clients will ever purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really love this refrigerator. Its a bit larger than my last one so I have plenty of room, even in the freezer. Other people have complained about the noise but I find it pretty quiet.
