Middle row gets frozen

We want to love this appliance but have noticed that the middle row randomly gets frozen in the back? Not sure why, but have only had it for a month. Aside from that it’s fine

Good, but too much electronics

Overall, good. But within 3 months water and ice stopped with an ERR. It was the water filter not recognized by fridge and no means to reset the error. Read through the manual, called GE and they sent a filter bypass plug. As I already have full home water softener and filter, I intend to use only the bypass. Could do with a reset button to bypass.

Item is the worst new appliance I gave ever bought. The cover us not much better then tin foil and showed wrinkles out of the box. Cheap plastic everything else. The ice maker is as cheap as they come and requires constant attention to keep operational. AVOID!

The lamest new appliance I have ever purchased.

I bought this online, and if I had seen it in person I would not have purchased it. It is the cheapest made appliance I have ever owned. The outer metal wrap is akin to tin foil and shows wrinkles. The plastic interior parts are so cheap you know they will break in a short time. The ice maker requires constant attention to work properly. The filter reset button already doesn’t work. AVOID!

I owned a wonderful GE Refrigerator many years ago. Recently my repairman suggested buying a GE as easy to repair, and living in the country I did so. Bought this model and found it made an annoyingly and frequently high pitched strange sound, apparently generated from the compressor, that got on my nerves. Sent it back, replaced it with the same model - it did the same thing. Sent it back and got a different brand. Liked the GE but this was NOT the kind of sound noted that buyer would probably hear as noted in the instruction pamphlet that comes with the refrigerator. Apparently other buyers have had similar experience with this model. Otherwise it is a nice refrigerator for the money and size, although I thought the freezer shelving design somewhat lacking in shelving possibilities.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Biggest piece of crap

This dumb thing is only 4 years old and needs to be thrown away. Has a refrigerate leak or bad compressor and is not covered under any warranty. In the first month all the shelves broke which was covered by the warranty. Only giving one star because it won't let me give zero or negative stars.
