Most fridge's have a vinegar or metallic taste to their ice but the ice from the freezer in this fridge has no funky taste or smell! Yay!

Reliability: After reading many reviews (including those by repairmen), I narrowed my search to GE brand refrigerators. I was looking for reliable brands with the fewest issues. My GE Model #: GSS25GYPFS, side by side refrigerator is exactly what I wanted for my pantry area, including water/ice/crushed ice dispenser. Really like the layout and the interior lighting!

A little smaller from my old one. So far everything is working great. I do like the new led lighting.Ice machine seems to have same output as last one.
