Cools but ice defective.

The refrigerator cools. The one PROBLEM has been the water filter. It must be defective. The ice comes with a charcoal reside. I have emptied the ice drawer FIVE times. The water was emptied for 30 minutes. It looks fine. I will not use my ice with a charcoal residue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible refrigerator

GE already had to replace this fridge 2 times! The first one was doing short circuit and the second was leaking water!

I'VE ONLY HAD MY REFRIGERATOR FOR ONE WEEK BUT SO FAR I'M VERY HAPPY WITH MY PRODUCT. IT REALLY ENHANCED MY KITCHEN. ANOTHER GREAT GE PRODUCT.

Eight hours after delivery and I’m thinking we made a very good choice with this GE refrigerator. Good looking, quiet, well laid out in both freezer and fresh foods so that we have tons more room over a competitive unit. Like the functionality of the in-door ice, water, and temp readouts which I checked with an infrared scanner. LED lighting is well placed and comes up gently when opening the doors. Oh, and did I tell you we bought it sight unseen….good move!
