Overall a great refrigerator

Overall this is a great refrigerator. It needs a third drawer though. A meat draw, a veggie drawer and a cheese drawer. That would be the only real complaint I have about this.

Looks great. Working as expected so far. Got it on President’s sale with great discount. It replaced my old GE fridge which lasted 20 years.

Nice! But, will it break soon?

I like the fridge really well. I give it 4, not 5 stars for one fundamental reason. The quality and “feel” of this GE product feels less sturdy and, in turn, possibly will not last as long as our previous Profile unit. That one, built 20-25 years ago was really strong and durable. After about 25 years it gave cooling problems so we “upgraded”. Not sure about that. It works well, after 2 months, but the plastic vegetable bins don’t move smoothly and feel like a thinner plastic, almost ready to crack. Hope not, cause we do like it. Planned obsolescence, I think they call it now, with many new products being offered, even in the mid-range models. Seems like you have to buy the “luxury”, top of the line model to get what used to be the mid-range quality. So, it seems like most of the manufacturers plan their products to become obsolete (break) in a much shorter time period.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far the refrigerator has been GREAT. It's space for so much and suits our needs! Exterior cleans easily while looking awesome with rest of the kitchen.
