Great fridge

Great fridge & it fit our space perfectly. We would have have like one more shelf in the freezer & screw down pads at the front wheels to lower & keep the fridge from sliding out. Easy fix we placed some sticky felts in front of the wheels & that did the trick.

Quite, plenty of room and plenty of ice. Easy to level just open the door look down there's the adjustment screw at the bottom next to the hinges.

There are features I really love about this refrigerator such as the water filter being easy to reach, the adjustable shelving, the extra lights, and it beeps if the door is left open. However, there are features that I find a bit annoying such as the drawers become unbalanced rather easily, that only one drawer has the produce setting, the wheels do not lock (the whole thing moves forward sometimes when opening the door), and there is no manual backup setting dial in case the control panel breaks. This model is very quiet. It does maintain a steady internal temp in both the freezer and the refrigerator. The ice maker has a fast cycle compared to my old one.

Love my GE Side by Side

Love this fridge. Bought the same one for my Mom a while ago. I had a French door fridge from a competitor and the ice maker broke 30 days post warranty. So I went with what I know is amazing. I love the side by side, the capacity is wonderful and I am so happy.

I really like the GE GSS25GYPFS refrigerator. I wish it had more drawers, another shelf in the freezer and a way to lock the wheels.

Not worth the money! Broken after 1 year

Not worth the money!! Water/ ice leaks constantly. Had several service calls before the first fridge was replaced. The second one constantly leaks and just a few months outside of the 1 year warranty the ice crusher died. We never used the crushed ice maybe ten times over the past year… very disappointed in this fridge!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
