I have only had my new refrigerator for one month and so far so good. I picked this appliance because of the inside lighting was better than other brands. I love the ice and water in the door. I feel like I got a really good deal on it as well. I just hope that it lasts 17 years like my last one.

Great value, very nice looking, spacious, extremely quiet operation. Lighting is excellent, door and interior shelf spacing is pretty flexible. Does not have higher 3rd 'deli' drawer and only one freezer basket. Bottom 'meat' drawer is smaller than produce drawer. Cannot beat the size/value for the price.

Lacking door storage, but not a major issue.

I would have liked to see more door storage and a solid drawer in the bottom of the freezer rather than the wire drawer/basket. The refrigerator is not nearly as heavy as my old Samsung, which is a positive, and the water line connects directly to the fridge, which is also nice. This is a good refrigerator for the price.

Smart New Finish and Design

My new side by side GE refrigerator is very similar to my 2008 model that was replaced in my kitchen. I like all of the features including the newest lighting configuration and the service panel has been improved with a communication frequency link from the water service filter to the display panel.
