It's Ok for the money. There is some poor workmanship (cut hazard in the freezer section on back wall), and it has a weird high pitched buzz sometimes. Probably would not buy again given the chance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Replacement

This is the first time I have bought a side by side Refrigerator. I was a little nervous, because I was replacing my new GE with my Fridgedare, which matched my stove and dishwasher that I brought as a set. I also love all the Features that came with my GE. LOVE it!!

Refrigerator was just delivered 2 days ago. We replaced a 25 year old white freezer top GE that is now moved to the garage. The new stainless steel looks super nice next to my new GE stainless oven and stove top. Already enjoying water and ice from door, which our old refrigerator didn’t have.

So far so good. Easy to program temperatures, lights inside provide easy visual and the door alarm actually helps by alerting you when you don't close it well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
