Refrigerator is OK.

The vegetable crisper drawer is very difficult to open and close. Disappointed that this refrigerator did not have a storage drawer for cold cuts and cheeses. A manual should be given when purchasing appliance. Going on line to retrieve appliance information is not preferred.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy accessibility is side by side fridge !

Just got my new fridge , it’s so sleek looking and is working perfectly !
The best thing about this fridge is everything is so easy to find , no more bending over for 10 minutes looking for the mustard !

25 days vs 25 Years of ownership

I had my last Hotpoint fridge 25 Years, and GE is bugging me before I had this one 25 days, but here goes: I hope it last even Close to that long. This 25.3 side by side was the largest that would fit thru our 30" interior doors.
LIKES: the LED lights with their spiffy fade-in feature, better designed freezer (no shelf brackets sticking out like old one taking up space), that is still magnetic despite stainless steel, pretty good shelf design
Dislikes: stupid shelf over ice tray so you can't turn off the ice cube maker w/o removing said shelf, and those door hold opens at the bottom, that make it Easy to leave the door open, as it won't just close as it should when you let go - so far that's it

We purchased this amazing refrigerator at an amazing price and couldn’t be happier! The shelves are wider and the door shelves are deeper than others we looked at. I would recommend this refrigerator to anyone.

I bought this refrigerator 7 years ago and regretted buying it almost immediately. It’s noisy and the side by side is very inadequate in storing items in the freezer—not easily accessible w/o removing items to access what is in the back or bottom basket. The refrigerator side is also inadequate. I am looking for a french door refrigerator so I can get rid of this “mistake” as soon as possible. Absolutely hate this one every day since purchase.

Awesome refrigerator

I have all GE appliances in my kitchen, so when my GE side-by-side finally crapped out after 21 years I bought this one and Wow I love it! LED lighting is a nice feature and I love the room. This is an awesome refrigerator!
