Great new refrigerator

Moved into a new home and promptly replaced all the appliamces with GE appliances. The refrigerator is awesome! Love the ease of getting used to it and love the LED lights inside.

Beautiful and reliable product!

This new model is replacing a very similar model I had for 20 years. It worked flawlessly during that time. I only replaced it because wife insisted it was time. I don't regret the upgrade! Beautiful product almost identical to the original. I am sure it will perform just as well the old one. GE products have always held up and performed well in my experience.

A lot of issues

Makes loud noises. Whines and thuds. Freezes products in the fridge when temperature is set at 37 degrees. Can keep you awake at night. Clunking sound very loud when dispensing water. Stainless steel finish on the doors is warped. Bad cosmetics.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overpriced for the fearures

This is the third purchase of this model in the last 15 yrs & each one is cheaper looking with fewer functions & drawers etc. A real disappointment..even the ice maker is louder than the previous two & is especially annoying when it empties trays during the night…

We really like the through-the-door ice dispenser and water dispenser. The side-by-side is much more accommodating than the refrigerator over the freezer for us.

Nice appearance, lots of interior room, an icemaker that works well and doesn't freeze up) (Samsung, I'm looking at you!) and quiet running. In short, it does what a refridgerator/freezer is supposed to do - not make you think about it until you wish to store or retrieve an item that needs chilling!
