Great door space!

I can see what food I have

I switched from a very wet and crappy Samsung French door and pull drawer bottom. The same amount of food fit in the fridge but I can see what I have in the freezer now. And the fridge only took 5 hours to fully cool instead of the 24hours the pamphlet says.

The GE refrigerator was a good buy compared to other makes and models of like kind, i went with a known brand of which Iam familiar with and so far, My wife and I like the refrigerator.

Adjustable shelves

Things I love about this side-by-side refrig: fully adjustable shelving, ice maker is not in the door, bullnose corners on doors, ability to by-pass the need for water filter (the part is free, you just need to call to request they send you one).
Things I don’t like: wheels do not have locks so refrig will roll forward and back when you open the doors (I bought a pack of iPrimio brand bed & furniture stoppers that are “U” shaped to slide around the front wheels which solved the problem), I would have preferred glass shelves in the freezer instead of wire and the sides on the lower bin front need to be higher so it will hold more food. The plastic for the veggie crispers is pretty thin - those drawers will more than likely be the first thing that breaks.

The ice maker takes a long time to fill then when full drops cubes into the freezer section which fall on the floor when you get something from the freezer.
