The ONLY reason why not a 5 is that the doors don't have a "stop" on them so when they are opened, they swing too hard w/o a "stop". I like the closer, though, and it all works well...

Opening a New Door

Overall good but the water dispenser area is not as high as it used to be in the prior refrigerator (so taller glasses and carafes need to be held at an angle and the lever manually depressed), dispenses at a sharp angle so splashes onto the floor if a glass is used straighten to depress the lever, slight drip after lever is released. Also, not sure why the removable plate below the dispenser does not hav a hole for water to drain.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve only had this for a month but so far it’s great. Works perfectly! My only complaint with this model is the front display isn’t easy to read at night and I wish the words water and ice were lit instead of a little dot light over the words because when it’s dark I can’t tell which selection is active. Other than that small critique everything else is great!! Cost was great too! My last KitchenAid French door fridge was purchased in 2019 for 4k and never got below 55°F in the fridge. Service provider and warranty was worthless. I decided to go with GE and so far glad I did.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the fingerprint stainless steel. I have the options of cubed or crushed ice and i can set the temperature of the freezer and refrigerator. Produce drawers are a little tight; however.

This new GE Profile model has better internal design that maximizes capacity in a non-bulky refrigerator. Nice improvement over the older GE Profiler that it replaced, especially the icemaker--which has a plastic sheathed corkscrew versus the old metal ones that would rust and put rust into the ice cubes. The fingerprint resistant Stainless Steel exterior is also a good design feature.
