Refrigerator works well although ice cream sometimes soft. Ice dispenser does not work evenly, ice comes out in clumps after delays in between.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Refrigerator has good features but also some bad

GOOD THINGS:
1) Lighting inside – easy to see things.
2) Lots of room inside the refrigerator side; the room inside the freezer side is okay.
3) Humidity Control bin is large and easy to control with sliding bar.
4) Filter Status on door shows percentage of filter left by pushing the button.
5) Door Alarm warns if either door is left open too long.
6) Runs pretty quietly.
7) Adjustable Shelves are very handy for storing very tall and very small items.

BAD THINGS:
1) Adjustable shelves are a bit hard to remove, but especially hard to position and lock back into place.
2) Stupid placement of the Ice Maker On/Off Switch behind a tray that must be removed to reach the switch, whereas the switch should be on a side wall where it could be readily seen and accessible.
3) Ice gets too high because the lever to control the ice making allows the ice to get higher than the bin top and then removing the tray above the bin causes some ice cubes to be pushed out and they fall inside the freezer onto the shelves.
4) Water Dispenser is poor; it tends to drip after shutting off, plus one has to be careful about positioning a cup (or other things) in a certain way to get the water into the cup.
5) Ice Dispenser is poor; it tends to spill ice out onto the floor unless one is careful about positioning a cup (or other things) a certain way.

Good but can be loud

The refrigerator is nice. I love the slate color. The capacity is small but I did downgrade in size from French door with cold drawer and bottom freezer to this side by side. The minus 2 stars is for 1. The ice maker is so loud it could wake the house. So everyone knows when you’re getting ice and 2. The overall noise is loud. I know that I downgraded and I have to adjust to the size and style difference. Just wish they would make the French door top refrigerator in a smaller size. Overall it’s a nice fridge for a small household. Plus side is that the ice and water work even if the fridge door is open.
I would recommend this to a friend!
