Another great side-by-side refrigerator by GE!

This unit replaces our other GE side-by-side and has all the same, and some better, features than the previous model. It runs quietly, keeps constant temperatures in both compartments, has plenty of room in both compartments, makes lots of ice and looks great in our kitchen. Thank you, GE, for another great appliance. I've been a GE customer for decades and have always been very pleased with all my appliances.

Flashing zeros won’t go away

At first when I bought the refrigerator I thought wow this is a great product. I’ve only had it two months and now it isn’t cooling, lights are out and it’s flashing zeros
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We replaced our old refrigerator which was a GE with basically the same model, only newer. For the most part we like it with a few exceptions. The bottom shelf in the refrigerator door is more shallow and doesn’t old the things that the old one would and the bottom vegetable drawer came broken and is extremely hard to open and close. If it gets replaced fairly soon I will let that one slide. Otherwise we love and hope we get as many years out of it as the old one.

Very noisy and nothing it can be done

Refrigerator is nice but very noisy per tech that came to inspect it, there is nothing it can be done. That’s the way this refrigerator was built.

For the price it's not bad. The ice maker, however, sucks. Does not keep up with usage and the water flow on the dispenser is slow. My old Frigidaire was better in these areas. The GE is better for efficiency though.
