Terrible interior design.

I owned a GE similar model purchased in 2005. The interior design was much better. It had one more shelve and one more tray (bin) plus the door trays were better. I had to buy the extra shelve (previous model had bins, which were better) for the freezer. The redesigns sucks in comparison. Do the designers actually use the products they design? I returned a new purchase Frigidaire because the fridge didn't cool. But, the interior design was superior to the GE. Plus you could turn off the ice maker from the exterior panel instead of having to open the freezer door, remove the upper tray, then reach into the freezer to slide the switch into the off position. I wish I would have exchanged the Frigidaire.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far so good. It fits perfectly in the small space for the frig.
Easy to put together. Would be nice to have a complete bottom tray for freezer, not just a wire one.
Other than enjoying it.

Great refrigerator

The refrigerator not only looks modern and clean but it works! The interior of the frig is spacious and well lit. The freezer is easy to find contents which is an improvement over bottom drawer freezers. The set up is pretty easy as well.

Refrigerator looks nice but it is loud and runs constantly. It is also difficult to find water filters for this model.

This GE Side by Side has to be the greatest Refrigerator we've ever had. It is Extremely Sharp looking in out kitchen and is very quiet
