Not bad but missing basic features

Would give it a higher rating but it needs some extras. Needs locking wheels, it rolls like crazy on hardwood floor. Needs more than 1 light in the freezer and a smaller automatic ice maker storage bin to allow more freezer room. More than 1 light in the freezer and a second storage wire bin for the small freezer would be a bonus.

Buy it again

When we bought our home around 29 years ago I bought an entire suite of GE appliances I’ve had to replace the dishwasher several times but this was the original stove and fridge. The main reasons I bought these were I trust the name GE and it was the biggest fridge that I could fit in the available open space. Long story short I had no trouble in all those years but there was a power surge after a storm and it did take out the board on my 29-year-old fridge so naturally I tried to replace it with the same thing which and behold was available are greatly updated but I trust the product. Today I ordered the new stainless steel stove to go with it. That’s the original stove you’ll see in the picture.

Finally Arrived

We purchased this new model to replace our old GE refrigerator, which is very similar. The new model was on back order for forever, but we are very pleased with it so far. We like the black exterior finish and the interior lighting and it fits perfectly into our confined space. Honestly, it doesn’t run completely as quiet as the old unit, but not loud enough to be an annoyance. The one thing that I do miss is the deli draw that I had in the old model. Perhaps GE will bring that feature back fin the future for this size refrigerators.

Great size and adequate storage.

Our previous fridge was a 36" unit that just fit our space. Therefore, we could not open the door all the way due to space limitations. We thought the 33" GE was a better choice and it is. The door opens all the way and the ice maker has a great chute which avoids ice flying all over the floor which our old fridge did regularly. Our Labrador loved it but not us!
This fridge has great lighting and the ice maker is higher than most making it much easier to use along with the lighted display. We think it is great and hope that it functions as well and as long as our extended warranty.

GE Refrigerator with style!

I love my new GE Refrigerator! I have black stainless appliances, but the refrigerator’s shine looks beautiful in my kitchen. I love how it compliments the cabinetry and other appliances. It cooled down quickly after installation and cleaned easily. I love it and highly recommend it!
