Great Combo Microwave/Convection Oven

Our previous fridge was a 36" unit that just fit our space. Therefore, we could not open the door all the way due to space limitations. We thought the 33" GE was a better choice and it is. The door opens all the way and the ice maker has a great chute which avoids ice flying all over the floor which our old fridge did regularly. Our Labrador loved it but not us!
This fridge has great lighting and the ice maker is higher than most making it much easier to use along with the lighted display. We think it is great and hope that it functions as well and as long as our extended warranty.

I only had this fridge for a month and it keeps everything cold. The Ice is hard and the frozen foods stay frozen.

Door has swirl scratches. Not impressed

To start I’m extremely upset that this NEW unit out of the shipping box came with swirl scratches all over the fridge door. This is absolutely terrible when I just spent so much money on it.
Now for the good part of the review, mechanically it works very nicely. It is a little louder than my last GE fridge/freezer side by side. That unit was more than 10yrs old so it was time to upgrade. I love the LED lighting, I love that it starts slightly dim then gets bright. Perfect for when it’s dark and your eyes need a moment to adjust. I like the spacious feel I have in the fridge, and the wire basket in the freezer. It’s not as bulky as a plastic bin there. The shelves are adjustable which is great also, the water and ice work great. It rolls easily if you need to move it as well. This unit is slightly taller than my last and I love that about it.

Well designed and spacious

I am very pleased with my purchase of this GE fridge. It is very well designed with excellent storage space and shelf layout. While it appears to run longer than my previous 7 year-old fridge it is very quiet and maintains a uniform temperature throughout the fridge space. I have always had a preference for side by side fridges as I find them more convenient and efficient compared to other styles including 3 door models, and this fridge does not disappoint.
