The refrigerator is beautiful for the price it keeps food cool. The inside looks very nice I like the light and the door alarm is a nice added bonus

The GE fridge we bought is very loud and rattles - at this ptoint we'd rather return but will explore GE's service tech and see if that fixes it.

Satisfied over all with the exception of the fact the main door swings away from the unit instead of towards it, a major flaw in my opinion.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not bad but missing basic features

Would give it a higher rating but it needs some extras. Needs locking wheels, it rolls like crazy on hardwood floor. Needs more than 1 light in the freezer and a smaller automatic ice maker storage bin to allow more freezer room. More than 1 light in the freezer and a second storage wire bin for the small freezer would be a bonus.

My first side by side, and water/ice dispenser

Plenty on space. Freezer is more convenient for us. Shelves allow for easy recognition of food items (not piled on top of one another). Lighting excellent. Door storage bins large enough for gallon milk.
The compressor makes more noise than what I am used to, but minor at best.

I am happy with this side by side refrig except for the shelving. I had to buy online for an emergency so couldn't see the inside of it. I had a hard time putting the shelves in as the instructions sucked. Also, their is no middle "meat" tray.
