It's okay.

Shelves on the drawers are difficult to get in place. The instructions were terrible; it only showed you where to put them. We immediately had one door shelf fall out because it was not seated well enough but the instructions did not tell you how to seat them. Difficult to get tall items a place in this model.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lots of room!

We have a very narrow space in our kitchen for a refrigerator and are limited by width so we didn't expect we could find anything that has any space. We're we surprised! This fridge is extremely spacious, the interior is laid out well, and it's very attractive. Very very pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend!

Love this!!! We had trouble finding a 30” refrigerator for our small space. It is perfect and has tons of space inside. I honestly wouldn’t even know it’s “smaller” than most.

Poor shelf placement/unstable freezer pull out

We needed a small refrigerator to fit our space and had our last GE for 12 years before it broke. So far we are disappointed that you can’t place the three shelves do that a Britta/juice carton/milk carton can fit on the lowest level. There is now a wasted shelf that is 2 inches high. Also when you pull out the freezer door you have to be careful or it will come off the runners. It is very wobbly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If the freezer drawer is wobbling, crooked or uneven when it is opened, this called "racking" and is normal. This racking is an advantage when the freezer drawer closes, allowing the gasket on the freezer drawer better flexibility to seal against the refrigerator cabinet.

Great Frig

This refrigerator replaced our freezer on top refrigerator on the bottom. It is so nice to have a Frig that is on the top and not have to get on the floor to find things. The lighting is the best, I can see everything.

It'll do - for now

We had an LG which stopped working right before Thanksgiving so we needed a new one in a hurry. This was the only one available at our local dealer that fit our opening.
Doors squeak when they open; freezer door does. Top tray in freezer inhibits access to the bottom. Small door shelf on the right is an absolute waste of plastic. Would have loved an option with split shelves so we can better utilize space to our needs.
Our next fridge will be planned and not hurried.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are happy to let you know that we do have some easy steps to resolve the squeaking door hinge. We would recommend lubricating the top and bottom hinges with either paraffin wax, petroleum jelly, or mineral oil.

Beautiful and practical

We liked at all the major brands and found this GE Refrigerator Freezer to be the best fit for us. Also the other appliances in the same style are really practical and pleasing.
