There is one negative. If both doors are open, the right door must be closed first, then the left...otherwise the left door will not close.

I was purchasing appliances for a kitchen remodel, and wanted to buy GE products. My refrigerator fits partially into a recess, so size was a critical factor. This model fits perfectly, and looks great! The shelves adjust to make organizing the interior easier, and I can fit everything I need inside. The freezer compartment is roomy, the icemaker produces prodigious amounts of ice, and there is even a light. All in all, I'm really happy with my purchase!

I love this fridge!

I was thrilled that I was able to get a french door refrigerator; I hadn't considered it because I thought my kitchen was too small. GE makes this model that fits in smaller spaces. The fridge is so deep and has so much interior space. Thrilled!

Very noisy!!

We recently had to buy a replacement for our refrigerator in an emergency. We bought this one because it was in stock. Read the reviews and several people said how noisy it was. Thinking some people complain about anything I went ahead and purchased this one because quite a few people liked it. Needless to say while running it has a loud annoying rattling sound to which they tell us they can do nothing. We were told the newer models sound like this. I quess we are stuck with the annoying rattle until it dies.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

looks good keeps cold/ frozen makes alot of noise
