Bought this a month ago and from the very beginning it started grinding. It starts and stops consistently. I know refrigerators make noise, but this is not right!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a really nice refrigerator. It has good storage, a nice lower drawer the width of the unit for deli meats and cheese. The only minor draw back is a lack of storage for tall bottles. It does have a upper shelf that can be adjusted back to allow tall items to be placed on the shelf below. Overall my family loves the appliance!
We didn't have room for the fridge with the dispenser but are very happy with the ice maker, the extra internal light, style and the color (slate). Only, I wish the door didn't come out wider than the stated width as we could not make use of the space.
This is a roomy fridge considering it's only 30" wide, and the only one that fits in a tight space without hinges that "swing out" (counter on one side, wall on the other). Room for plenty of food, adjustable shelves, deli drawer, and lots of door bins. Freezer is roomy. If it matters, the doors hold magnets! It has a fridge and freezer alarm, which is a necessity. A few issues - shelves in the fridge are not split in the center, which is disappointing, since it would be nice to raise only one side for extra bottles. Produce bins have an odd T-shaped design which is wasted width. The divider in the deli drawer is flimsy and slides around, and large "speed bumps" molded into the bottom means small stuff wobbles. Doors don't always close tight when you swing them shut - you need to give them a little extra push (this is the most annoying issue). Otherwise, it's quiet, roomy (for a small fridge), makes ice and freezes food quickly, and looks pretty too.
We bought this model because of the flipped freezer, the French doors, and the width. It fit exactly where we wanted. Only complaint is the shelves aren’t as practical as we would like.
