Poorly Designed Ice Maker

I purchased this refrigerator 8 months ago and just scheduled a 3rd service appointment to repair the ice maker. Very poor design where water just runs down the back of the freezer and freezes there.
If you have lots of free time during the day to wait around for repairmen and don't mind buying bags of ice at the gas station, get a GE fridge.

Very disappointed, shelf layout unsatisfactory. Keeps freezing food in refrigerator. Freezer holds less than my old top door refrigerator.

Our remodeled kitchen space for a frig is limited so having this new GE frig at 3" narrower than the LG we sent off is a real treat. But the cubic area inside is great. Really glad we made the decision to go GE!

A little tight internal space. But overall great fridge. You can barely hear the fan noise. Love the internal bottom drawer and led lighting. Ice maker takes up much space but it is a nice feature.

Storage options galore

The ability to easily adjust the storage shelves and dividers is great for when your weekly shopping purchases significantly vary in size and shape. Sounds funny to say but you never know how nice a feature the ice-maker is until you have one.

I am elderly and suffer from severe back pain. It is great to have the shelves at eye level. The pull out drawers in the freezer make it easy to use as well. The shelves and drawers are deep from front to back, so there is lots of room for "stuff". May compare with the Coldspot refrigerator I had that lasted for 35 years, if this one lasts that long! I love it.

This refrigerator fits the kitchen beautifully! The lighting is great, there's lots of room in the doors, and the drawers are also deep and roomy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because in order to pull out the shelves for adjustment, both doors have to be wide open. Our fridge is in the corner of the kitchen, so only one door is able to be opened wide. To pull out and adjust the shelves, I have to pull out the entire fridge. All 3 shelves are full (there isn't a split shelf). If your fridge is going in a corner, I suggest you decide how you want the shelves positioned before pushing the fridge back and filling the shelves up. It's not the 'end of the world'! Also, we didn't hook up the ice maker, so we have a little more room in the top drawer of the freezer. The fridge is very quiet, too!
