This is a GREAT fridge

We had to shop around for a while to find a good fridge that would fit in our kitchen, as it had to be under 30". This fridge was the PERFECT fit, and it is a great option for those who are highly organized! We LOVE it.

I've only had the refrigerator for six weeks. So far it is functioning perfectly. The only complaint I have is I consider the freezer handle too weak.

Roomy for a small fridge, but there are issues

A 30" fridge is the widest that fits my kitchen nook, and nicest in that range. It's roomy for its small size, lots of bins and drawers, temp is consistent and has an open-door alarm, which is a must. However, i've owned for 4 years, and it's had a number of problems that i can't honestly recommend anymore. 1) plastic frame on both sides of the top shelf cracked, so the front piece comes off (i've had to super-glue it); 2) i suspect there's a leak in the icemaker, because after a while, part of the ice becomes a solid block (GE sent a lazy repairman who blamed it on low water pressure - mine is actually much higher than normal, and i still don't get how that would affect the icemaker); 3) the top plastic of the freezer drawer is now cracked (maybe a stress fracture - no idea how that would happen - i am a household of 1). Sad, but i'm not recommending anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
