Worst piece of crap ever made

Own two of these. Both ice makers died within 1year of ownership. 1 replacement ice machine died 6 mod after installation. Both refrigerators leak water at many point of the cheap plastic plumbing, I now have ruined hardwood floors thanks to GE. I would not sell thes to my worst enemy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In general, we find the refrigerator acceptable. Our two concerns is an overlarge ice tray which takes space that could be used for frozen goods. If a sliding divider had been provided we would have lessened the ice cube space by half. Also, the refrigerator is far noisier than our previous refrigerator. The noise is disconcerting at times.

The new high efficiency compressor on modern refrigerators may run faster and longer than your previous refrigerator and generate more sound. You may hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound while it is operating which is normal. I bought this fridge a week ago. Love the door alarm feature. My girls always leave the door open and our food would spoil. Not anymore

We originally thought we needed a bigger refrigerator but bigger is not necessisarily better. This refrigerator has provided more useful space than our previous refrigerator which was the same size; its the interior design that makes the difference, more effective use of space. The refrigerator even has an alarm if the doors are left open for to long. It was reasonably priced...we are very happy with our purchase.

This is the nicest refrigerator-freezer I've ever owned. It's beautiful, highly functional (so easy to organize all the food in it) and has so much more space in it than my last one. So hard to find a nice fridge to fit in a 30-inch space.

ice maker design needs improvement

The ice maker design causes the ice cubes to be pulled out onto the floor when you open the freezer drawer if you allow the bin to fill.
