Noisy

In general, we find the refrigerator acceptable. Our two concerns is an overlarge ice tray which takes space that could be used for frozen goods. If a sliding divider had been provided we would have lessened the ice cube space by half. Also, the refrigerator is far noisier than our previous refrigerator. The noise is disconcerting at times.

The new high efficiency compressor on modern refrigerators may run faster and longer than your previous refrigerator and generate more sound. You may hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound while it is operating which is normal. Poor shelf placement/unstable freezer pull out

We needed a small refrigerator to fit our space and had our last GE for 12 years before it broke. So far we are disappointed that you can’t place the three shelves do that a Britta/juice carton/milk carton can fit on the lowest level. There is now a wasted shelf that is 2 inches high. Also when you pull out the freezer door you have to be careful or it will come off the runners. It is very wobbly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If the freezer drawer is wobbling, crooked or uneven when it is opened, this called "racking" and is normal. This racking is an advantage when the freezer drawer closes, allowing the gasket on the freezer drawer better flexibility to seal against the refrigerator cabinet.

Nice refrigerator

I love it but after only having it for 3 weeks it had to be serviced . The ice maker was not working properly. Disappointed because I had to wait 13 months to get it only to not work properly. Would like to be compensated for waiting all this time

it would be nice to configure the shelves a little more to make for a high pot.... 2 liter bottles and milk willfit on doors nicely.... but overall a good refrigerator and a resonably priced compared to other appliances out there....
