After our side by side, my wife and I love the way we can see what is in the refrigerator and especially the freezer. Seems like so much more room.

It is loud

You can hear it click off and on and when it is running it is loud. Also the drawers make this squeaky sound when you open and close them . I find the sound very irritating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

nice size, but noisey

We like the size, the set up of cooler space, the huge freezer, and ice and water dispenser, but the buzzing sound is driving us nuts. It's not real loud but it's loud to be very annoying. It only goes on after you close the doors and runs a long time. I'm beginning to think there's something wrong with it because it seems to buzz too much
