Excellent refrigerator!

We love our new GE Refrigerator! Ice maker is wonderful with plenty of ice. Refrigerator section is plenty big enough for the two of us. Freezer is adequate. Can’t fit quite as much as our precious refrigerator but we manage. Temperatures stay consistent in the refrigerator and freezer. And we love the no fingerprint exterior. I would definitively look at GE for my next appliances.

Great refrigerator, easy to use options

Bought this refrigerator because it was one of the few that came in a "33 wide version. Had it for about 45 days now and it is working GREAT! Like the amount of light in the fridge and freezer compartments. Like the clean lines of the face of refrigerator, the controls on the water/ice despenser are easy to use. The Fridge and Freeze temperature status button/readout is solely for setting to the desired temperature, it is NOT a measurement of the actual temperatures inside the refrigerator or freezer. I have a thermometer in each and so far the readings are VERY accurate. The fans and compressor are not overly loud or distracting, no more than our previous refrigerator. So far so good!

Display impossible to read

Overall there are only 2 issues with this fridge. It is noisy. Sounds like a dishwasher running all the time. Secondly when standing directly in front of the water and ice dispenser it is impossible to read the display. You have to stand to the side to read it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE Electronic Module Issues

Local Dealer has replaced refrigerator four times. Freezer not able to freeze ice cream or meat for several days. Local dealer could not get replacement control module to cycle freezer & refrigerator so it would function properly. So they kept replacing the refrigerator. But they all have the same issue. Do not purchase this make and model they have electronic module issues. Still no fix for the problem. Refrigerator & freezer digital read out on the exterior doesn’t match manual gage technician used for troubleshooting. Do not buy this product.

nice slate doors

today we received our slate appliances, I was so happy until I opened refrigerator door, the shelves are so flimsy they tip up easy. Crisp bins are small, can't fit soda bottles on the shelf. Not HAPPY, wish I had my other one back, it was different brand
