Started rusting less than 16 months later

The only reason for buying a "stainless steel" appliance is avoidance of rust. This appliance started rusting less than 15 months after purchase. I will never buy a GE appliance again. So now, both a fridge and a dishwasher from GE, same age, have the same problem.

Poor control panel

Control panel buttons are too sensitive and manual/online support aren't clear as to how to fix or toggle settings, such as temperature. Poor design and operation.

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review on your new refrigerator. We regret your experience. To change the temperature you have to press and release until you get to the temperature you want. If you go past it just keep pressing and releasing. It will cycle through the temperature.

Disappointed

I was excited to purchase an updated refrigerator but now that I've had it for a month I am disappointed. I purchased the "smaller" frig, so the draws have an awful plastic on plastic screech compared to the smooth draw opening on the displayed model. The finish shows so many prints, way too much maintenance, stainless steel was the only finish that was offered. I also don't find the French door style efficient, you need 2 hands to fully open the refrigerator so anything you want to put in must be on the counter until the doors are open. I think the worst
part is the screech of the draws, feels cheap.

Water is very slow, takes about two minutes to fill a glass. Also noisy when running, not bad but more than my older model. Drawers don't open/close smoothly.

Finish not as advertised

I just got 3 items delivered but the finish you show on both your site and the store that I purchased them from is very decieving. I wanted a dull black finish but this is what I recieved. Not the same thing to me being I asked for a dull finish.

Spacious and beautiful

I am really happy with my fridge! The no-fingerprint finish means I don't have to spend time polishing the refrigerator after kitchen cleanup. The two-layer freezer compartment is excellent, with plenty of storage.
It works great. My only complaint is it is not as quiet as my old one.
