Bottom freezer, small door pockets, crushed ice

I love my new refrigerator, except for not being able to move some of the shelves the way I would like too. But otherwise, I love it. It replaced an old 30+ year refrigerator and I really wondered if I would like the bottom freezer(having a bad back) but so far I really like that feature. It is spacious and I like the dividers. It is so convenient having an ice maker again. I guess you could say I like it all except not being able to move the shelves like I want too, but that is ok. I am making do, my husband is really good at organization and getting things to fit!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like everything about the refrigerator except the way the doors close. They pop open and to close you have to push or they will not close on their own. I am used to having the doors close on their own.

Working Well So Far

I have not had GE appliances in the past; therefore, I have concerns regarding longevity, which won't be answered for some years to come. So far the unit is working just fine. It is nice and bright inside. I am unused to the ice-maker in the fridge door, so juggling all those little things that one keeps in the door has been an issue. How many types of mustard does one couple really need anyway?! I have two negatives so far. First, the print on the ice/water control panel is mostly illegible, unless the light is just right. At my husband's height of 6', he didn't even realize that WAS any print on the panel. Second, the crisper drawers seem just the slightest bit too shallow. With an additional 1/2" or so, broccoli would fit in the drawer so much better.

Loving the French design!

I love the ease of the French design refrigerator. I am disappointed about the amount of ice that this refrigerator makes and I would love to turn off the beeping that happens when you switch from the water to ice on the front door but I have not found that solution yet. So far I am happy with this purchase.

Ice maker inadequate

French doors do not swing open wide enough, difficult to access items in refrigerator. Ice maker inadequate, makes small cubes in small amounts. Ice maker door does not close tightly.
Refrigerator keeps cold even temperature.
Freezer freezes ice cream solid.

Lots of room to spare!

Wow - does this refrigerator have room to spare. We needed a 33" wide refrigerator to fit our space and were afraid we were going to lose space for our food but no! It has even more room than our previous one. Also love that the ice maker/water is actually in the door of the frig which helps prevent the line from freezing. So far, no complaints.
