I love the refrigerator; however, I find the door hard to close. You really have to push to close the door

Our new GE refrigerator is replacing our old GE refrigerator. The old one lasted for many, many years. We will continue to purchase, and to recommend, GE products because they have always been extremely reliable.

Love the drawers and the ice maker but the plastic shelving on the french doors is cheap and brittle. I dropped one of mine on the floor when I was assembling it and it cracked.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good fridge, but louder than most.

It's a good fridge, with a few exceptions:
1. there isn't a convenient or intuitive location to store butter.
2. general operating noise level is louder than other refrigerators I've had, and it's more important to me since my kitchen is open area into my living and dining room... but I got used to it pretty quickly.
3. the ice dispenser is so loud it's like a jet engine taking off. I don't even use the crushed ice feature I'm just talking getting whole cubes out, and it's so unbelievably loud I thought it was broken. I learned it was fine after contacting the company that sold it and installed it, and I've also heard confirmation of this from others now as well (my mom has just about the same model and hers is extremely loud as well.)
4. the french doors are uneven; the right door hangs around 1/4 inch lower than the left door, and I noticed the right door (when opened) can be lifted up to match but there seems to be no way to make it stay up there. either way the doors do seal properly as-is so I haven't complained.
