Overall an excellent French Door Refrigerator

This was a replacement French Door Refrigerator for another manufacturer’s model with serious problems. We are pleased with the performance, fit and finish of this GE model. Ice Maker works very well, doors have a tight fit and open easily. Bottom freezer drawers are a little cumbersome but work well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good looking, water and ice are easy to use and change. Inside there is plenty of room for a variety of items. The lighting is great and easy to find items. The freezer is easy to use and with two decks you can store large and small items easily

I've only had this refrigerator for 3 days but I really like it. The water dispenser delivers cold water. The fridge is roomy. It looks good too!

Big and bright

This refrigerator looks great in our kitchen. It is very bright inside and has good storage. It makes ice very fast. The bins on the left side, ice maker side, are not useful because they are so narrow. We would like more adjustability with the shelves, as well. Other than that we really like it.

Very flimsy

We bought this frig because my husband like the design of the ice maker. It is stainless steel exterior but it feels very cheap and lightweight when I open the bottom free er draw. It doesn't pull out straight. I meat and veggie drawers feel lighter weight than our previous frig which was Kenmore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Happy Addition to Our Kitchen

First - it looks really good on the outside and the handles and doors look good and work well. Second - the lighting on the inside is phenomenal. You can see every area of the fridge space and this is big in a household where some family members with what I call “male-pattern blindness” could never find anything in the old refrigerator. Now they don’t have to ask where the ….. is. Third - there is a lot of usable space and the French door layout is working great. Fourth - the freezer layout is working well - the things people use daily are right there on top and the freezer is easy to access. So far the lower section of the freezer is also handy.
I mention for those who might not know this that the height of the unit is sometimes given as the height to the top of the hinges. I have cabinets over the fridge area that hang lower than the height to the top of the hinge, but the height of the fridge box is a little less than the hinge height and the unit fits great as the hinges are further out than the cabinet. Cabinet doors still open. The sales person told me this and made the sale.
The only reason for criticism is that it does some times make more noise that I would expect - other reviewers mentioned this. It is not a serious problem at our house.
