Just happy to have a refrigerator

I like it fairly well after 7 months without a fridge in my kitchen. Size constraints did not allow for most common size which we could have gotten earlier. Prefer to have the freezer baskets of "wire" rather than plastic and like a butter keeper compartment with door or lid.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice refrigerator

After dealing with a noisy LG refrigerator for 3 years the ice maker went out. Made the decision to go back to old reliable GE for a replacement. This refrigerator works well and is much quieter than the LG it replaced. Only complaint is the hard to read front panel for the water/ice dispenser.

A average refrigerator for the price. My old LG was a Cadillac compared to the GE which is like Chevy. The LG drawer operation was super smooth while the GE is noisy
, sticky, rough. A very big letdown from what I had before. Drawers get out of parallel on the GE. LG utilizes a gear drive to keep the lower freezer drawer slides from racking.

The new high efficiency compressor on modern refrigerators may run faster and longer than your previous refrigerator and generate more sound. Disappointed, but few options available

I would like to give 3.5 stars.
Pros: It is very spacious inside, with various shelving options, lighting is very good. Keeps consistent fridge & freezer temperatures.
Cons: Compressor is very loud, which goes on & off frequently throughout a day; Display panel for water/ice dispenser is not back lit, making it almost impossible to read; Water flow from outside door dispenser is very slow pressure (we have strong household water pressure); pullout shelf units feel cheaply made; freezer divider very flimsy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
