Limited space!!

For such a large fridge it’s shelves are set up so you have very limited space. Hate it!

This model offers 4 split adjustable shelves that can be moved around to suit your storage needs. We encourage you to change the positioning of the shelves until you find what works best for you. Temperatures off

Like the fridge. One of the MANY reasons I replaced my Samsung fridge with the GE was because it wouldn't hold accurate temps and was needing yet another repair. This fridge set to 37 degrees. Actual as measured with 3 thermometers is 40. Freezer set to 0,actual -10. Waiting for call back from repair dept

Hi - We are delighted to hear you like your beautiful new GE refrigerator. We're sorry to hear you we have concerns regarding the temperature accuracy. In order to properly measure the temperature in the refrigerator section place a bulb type or candy thermometer into a container of food or liquid (like a glass of water) that has been in the refrigerator for at least twenty-four (24) hours. Check the temperature on the thermometer first thing in the morning. If possible, read the temperature right through the glass. In the freezer section, place your thermometer between two packages of frozen foods and follow the same steps listed above. If you continue to have concerns we would recommend having GE service out to check the refrigerator to ensure it is working properly. Please call 1-800-432-2737 M-F 7am-10pm, Sat 8am-6pm, Sun 8am-6pm EST to do so. Kind Regards - Vikki@GEA

Annoying Humming/Motor Sound

Product came scratched on the side walls. It has what it seems to have a hanging metal at the bottom of the unit. But I am most disappointed with the sound it makes. I had to ask family members for the sound of the refrigerators, and none reported hearing any sound. They said very quiet. None of them have a GE refrigerator. I had a different brand as well and there was no sound. With this new appliance, I cannot be in the kitchen. Not worth for the price tag.

With the refrigerator being so new, it may take a bit of time until you are no longer troubled by the sound. Wife loves it

Disappointed at first. Wasn’t as cold in the frig as our old one. Took it several days then stabilized at an acceptable temp.
Left door squeaks when opened. May can be adjusted.
Love being able to see almost everything inside.
Some shelves barely hold anything.
Overall, very pleased.

Extremely loud

This is the loudest refrigerator I have ever heard. It runs constantly and my husband and I both think the dishwasher is running. I bought it as a replacement because I'm going to sell my house, and I'm thankful I won't have to listen to it much longer.

Hi - Thank you for choosing a new GE refrigerator for your home. We are sorry you are not pleased with the sound level of your refrigerator or the length of time that it runs. In order to maintain your pre-selected temperature in the fresh food and freezer compartments, the unit will run up to 80-90% of the time. Although the new model refrigerators run for longer periods of time, they are still extremely energy efficient.
This is due to the fact that the greatest amount of energy is used when the compressor cycles on as opposed to when the compressor is actually running. We will gladly share your concerns regarding the sound level with our product design team. Kind Regards - Vikki@GEA
