So for the icemaker, we recommend checking that it is turned on and the filter is installed properly. For the door issue, please check that the refrigerator is properly leveled. The front end should be 1/4" higher than the back to make sure the doors close properly. You can find how to level the unit on page 37 of the manual, here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000472-1.pdf

Good Storage for a narrower refrigerator

This was one of a few refrigerators in the 33 inch width that had bottom freezer and french doors.
It has easy to use controls, decent space.
I was hoping it would not be as noisy as my last fridge but it does make the normal refrigerator noises.
Love the storage.
Needed to replace the filter in 4.5 months. Do not know if that is normal. We do not use the ice and water that much - maybe 5 glasses a day.

We has been a long time GE products customer for many years (over 50+). Refrigerators, Washer/Dryer, Ranges as well as Home Air cond.& Commercial Air Conditioner (45 yrs ago)

Door bins keep breaking

Good fridge if all door bins weren’t broken replace them 2 all twice in 5 years they need a recall for heavy door bins

This is the best refrigerator I have ever owned, hands down. It is beautiful to begin with, but more than that it is loaded with features and is spacious and energy efficient. The filtration system is easily accessible so when the filter needs to be replaced, it isn't difficult. The ice machine is amazing and the layout of the interior of both cabins are just perfect.

The refrigerator works as advertised. The controls are easy to understand. The shelving is adjustable. The ice maker needs attention. It can get too full and the dispenser will not work. The tray needs to removed and the ice removed. Then it works fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!
