Not well constructed:

The Freezer Compartments are not sturdy, the Frig shelves are not smooth so it's difficult to place items, the front doors conflict with each other, the door handles are very wide and not easy to handle, the Ice Maker simply throws the ice cubes out (some are small pieces of ice along with the cubes & they end on the floor. The Frig, itself, makes a lot of noise. Why did we buy it? We didn't! The retirement complex we live in provided all appliances and we had no choice. We had GE Profile appliances in the home we lived in for 50 years and they were excellent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible Ice Maker

I bought a GFE24JGKWW refrigerator. I love everything about this refrigerator except the ice maker machine. The ice compartment will not hold very much ice! Maybe if you lived alone and then you might still run out! It sucks that you don't notice this when you order it. I would have never bought it if I had known about the capacity of ice.
