Great French Door Unit

Replacement for an LG side by side unit that went bad after 5 years!
This unit has more usable space than the other and hopefully it lasts much longer.

Space utilization not as efficient as LG. The drawers are a bit flimsy. Overall a good unit I like the responsiveness of the buttons on the front panel. I wish it held as much as my older LG but that died after only 5 years (compressor)

Hard to find a 33 inch French door fridge with ice and water in the door. But this model is it. Game changer to have your food at eye level Instead of getting down on the ground to look in the back of the fridge. Had to modify the cabinet above as this fridge is taller than our old one but that seems to be a trend with all newer models. Overall very pleased

Not enough room

The power cord was bad when it was delivered, so immediately we needed to have this replaced. All has been working great since (its been about a month). Before purchasing this style of refrigerator, realize that to get in it you have to open two doors instead of just one. Opening just one side is not enough room to do anything
so you need to open both doors 98% of the time. It gets annoying. Also, there is very little storage for condiments, if you keep them in the door. One side is useless due to the water/ice, so you are left with a couple little shelves for all condiments.

Great Space. I love that the ice maker is in the door and doesn’t take up space. We will see how long it lasts my LG French door only lasted 3 years. Go GE

Love all the space in this fridge. Love the ice maker being in the door, much more room in the body of the fridge. A little loud when it's running but, not significant enough to return it.
