The refridgerator is very noisy and sounds as though it is going to stop working.
It hardly ever shuts down.

If you're concerned about the noises coming from your refrigerator, we suggest looking at the normal operating sounds in the Use and Care manual. Here's a link: (Page 42)

This GE French door refrigerator model looks very modern and attractive. The rounded doors and sleek control panel look great. The layout, reconfigurable door bins and the drawers are great features to help organize and see your food contents. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

door squeaks when opening

When the left door opens, the flap that latches drags along the right door edge and creates this insane squeak like nails on a chalkboard. Now, I have to prepare myself before opening my refrigerator so I don’t go crazy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The product looks very nice

This refrigerator has a sliding bottom freezer which has a tray which always wants to come of the tracks and seems to be cheaply made. When the freezer is opened it doesn't open evenly and does not shut on it's own. The refrigerator portion had to be set to 35 degrees in order to keep the milk semi-cold.
