The Turbo cool on the unit is a little noisy when it kicks in and runs.

Hi Medme - Thank you for taking the time to post a review on your new refrigerator. We are happy to explain how the Turbo Cool feature works. When the Turbo Cool feature is activated, TurboCool™ "revs up" the refrigerator, cooling it quickly after frequent or extended door openings (particularly helpful after visits to the grocery).This maximizes the cooling ability of the fresh food compartment.
Specifically, your refrigerator compressor is activated and the fans turn on at high speed. even when the door is open. The fresh food temperature will then run on its coldest setting for an 8 hour period or until TurboCool is turned off (whichever comes first). It would not be unusual to have a higher sound level when Turbo Cool is in operation. What you have described is not considered unusual. We wish you all the best. Vikki@GEA

Love the look of the finish. Easy to install. Love the filter making clean water and ice. Several lights making seeing what is in the refrigerator easy. The size was a perfect fit for the designated space.
