Reliable Operation and Good Size

We recently purchased this new GE refrigerator and so far we are happy with its operation and ease of use. We particularly like that the filtered water is cold (our prior refrigerator water was lukewarm). The size of the refrigerator accommodates our needs. We are optimistic that this refrigerator will meet our needs for many years!

Although the fridge is bigger than expected it is working great and I especially enjoy having an ice dispenser. I have never had one and it's great. It has a very nice exterior and is easy to move in and out as necessary.

Great looking fridge!

After having numerous issues with past samsung refrigerators we decided to go with this GE. The reviews for this fridge were really good so we decided to give it a shot. I love the look of the slate stainless! Its super sharp! It doesn't get fingerprint smudges like a regular stainless does and magnets stick to the face! Now I can finally hang our little ones masterpieces on the fridge like when I was a kid. The fridge is really spacious we have the 33" model and it still feels very spacious. The right (facing fridge) door has nice deep shelves which can all hold a gallon container ( convenient) and the left ( Facing fridge) door has more shallow shelves because of the ice maker. These shelves are VERY shallow. I can only first a couple of dressings and some butter on that side, but the others are deep enough to hold all my condiments and milk. There is plenty of shelving. It is adjustable and has that one piece that can be slid in to make it easier to fit something high on the shelf below. I like the long drawer on the bottom. The samsung we replaced had a whole separate door in the middle, and while I liked the look of that on the samsung, the GE bottom shelf serves the same purpose. I will say the water on the door comes out a little slow, but I like the placement of it on the door. It is easy for my little one to fill their own glass of water and ice. The Freezer has a top sliding drawer that is on top of a deep freezer drawer. I like that this enables us to organize the freezer a little better. I like putting the most used items in the freezer ( bagels, hotdogs, popsicles, ice-cream, veggies) on top and our longer sitting freezer items on the bottom. I am overall very happy with this purchase so far. It has only been a week but I would recommend it any day. I'm just hoping it will have the longevity we were looking for, and not break in less than a year like our samsung!

Love it! Black Stainless Steel Design is amazing. Love the freezer on the bottom, lots of space in the fridge!
