We've had our new fridge approximately 1 day. So it was only given 4 stars until we've had it longer. It came to temperature really quickly once plugged up, and our milk was nice and cold after being in it all night using their temperature suggestion. The only complaint we had was with the doors. The storage compartments for the door were not interchangeable, and the ones on the left are so small and narrow I can't imagine what people store there on a daily basis. We also ended up taking out a shelf and storing it to give ourselves more room for our taller items. The handles of the fridge and freezer also gave our installers a run for their money, I had to youtube a video of how they clicked into place to get it done correctly; we thought they were on, only to pull on them and have them pop off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had limited space for a refrigerator in my new home and this product fit perfectly. It has great features and plenty of room for its size. I love the color (Slate) it looks beautiful in my new kitchen

Early days but I love it!

I researched a long time before picking this one. Sucks to have a kitchen width of less than 36", doesn't it? I've only had it a couple weeks, but so far I like it. It's so brightly lit, and yes you have to figure out where to put things, as every item won't fit in every spot, i.e. tall items. But all of my stuff usually has a normal spot, so once you find where everything fits, you get used to it there. You can hear it running sometimes, especially if you're in the kitchen, but I don't think it's louder than any of the other refrigerators I've ever had. Ice maker makes enough ice for me, but I'm just one person. They say the black stainless is fingerprint resistant, but if anything it gathers more fingerprints than my old plain black metal one, so don't count no that feature. Still, I love it!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The ice machine sprays ice pieces even when it is set on cubes. We have to put a container up to it and then transfer to cup or its a mess and it is noisy. It also makes a small amount of ice at a time so you have to use conservatively. The freezer drawers are a bit cheap and it I could exchange this fridge I would. I heard good things about GE, but this model has been a dissapointment.

While overall I like the look of the fridge and the features this thing is NOISEY! I can here it turn on up stairs and it seems to hum for 90% of the day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice maker only worked for 1 week

I like the space and organization of the refrigerator but the ice maker (in the door) stopped working after one week. We’ve had a repairman out three times and the explanation is that the water has froze in the door. So the repairman is coming again this week to put on a new door. Either this isn’t a good fridge, or we got a lemon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great size and space

The GE refrigerator we bought was for size and quality and we received both of these in what we purchased. It also came in a black stainless steel which was a bonus to match our kitchen area and fingerless smudges makes it easy to clean and nicer appearance.
I would highly recommend this model and/or any brand by GE for the simple reason of quality and service
