Great so far!

We've only had this refrigerator for a few weeks now, but so far it has been very nice having this new one. Our older refrigerator was quite old, and although it was still working, it was time to have it replaced. I can only hope that this new one will last as long as the old one did. We purchased the french door style with the bottom freezer, which took a few days to get used to using; older model was a side-by-side. We measured carefully before purchasing a new refrigerator, as our space was limited and we did not want to alter our the existing cupboards. Because we only had a limited amount of space, I was worried about the inside capacity being large enough to hold large dishes and the numerous bottles and jars of things we always keep inside. This new model has exceeded my expectations, and it almost looks too empty sometimes. I do like the quick freeze feature, for when a baking dish of leftovers needs to be refrigerated. I read a lot of negative comments about the ice maker being on the small side, but that doesn't seem to be an issue in our house. It produces more ice that we can use in a day! I'm very happy with our purchase. Only negative thing I want to say is that I had to pay extra to get a white model. All of my other appliances are white and not in need of replacing for awhile, but I believe all models should be the same price. Not everyone loves stainless steel.

This refrigerator looks great and funtions well. Lots of drawer space and shelves adjust to individual needs. Easy to adjust the shelves, cleans up easy.

So Far So Good

We've had it a little over a month. We love it so far the ice maker and the water work great. The water could come out a little faster but I'm nitpicking. It's laid out well both the refrigerator and the freezer. It's easy to get to your food.

On first week of owning new refrigerator. The ice machine quit working. I was told by the repair person -That if I use crushed ice I would have to use the cubed ice too can’t always use crushed ice. That was one of the features I liked the most

Not all I expected from GE product. Had to buy what was available at the time due to failure of old refrigerator.
