GFE24JSKSS sounds like a jet engine

This fridge is too loud. The noise could be very distracting, almost unbearable at times if you're trying to read or concentrate on something. I have to close my bedroom door at night as it's impossible to fall asleep when the fridge goes into that noisy mode which can last for hours.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Okay but I would not get another one

We bought this refrigerator back in August and thought it would was going to have a lot of room and great use of space. We were wrong. Our other refrigerator had a better layout of shelving and drawer than this one. The shelves on the door are almost useless in some spots. I think the way the ice make has been placed in the door really took away from having the most space. If you are looking for space this is not the refrigerator for you. Maybe a great one for a small family or a couple but not a family of six.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
