Does all I want without extras

I needed to replace a 22 year old side by side fridge that came with my condo. The freezer so narrow that it was hard to find anything nor could I store items in wide boxes. The ice dispenser and the water in the door features took away a lot of freezer storage space. This GE fridge not only gives me more room in both freezer and fridge but doesn't add the water in the door feature that leads to leaks and the need for repairs. Since I don't use ice, I have much more room in the freezer. Temperatures are stable. Fridge is quieter than my old one although it makes different sounds. Best of all, it's the highest rated American fridge on Consumer Reports' Recommended List. It looks beautiful in my kitchen and complements the stainless steel stove top and sink. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase. Time will tell if the fridge remains as reliable as my old Hotpoint was. I'm hoping it will.

With growing boys we needed a larger fridge than the standard fridges. This is well laid out, simple and clean. There is plenty of room and well worth the extra effort to get it into the house. Runs extremely quiet, even cooling and something I never thought of lighting. Wish we upgraded sooner.

I only give it a 4 because the freezer is very loud when pulling out! The refrigerator is very spacious and I love the look

I feel so bad that this fridge did not work. At just 2 months or less it started to give us problems. Had to call 3 times the garranty to fix it and still has the same problem. Now just waiting to see if we can replace it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
