Ice maker and adjustability of shelving

Just about perfect!

This fridge replaced a Samsung french door with flex drawer. For sure we will never buy another Samsung. I love having the ice in the freezer. I lost a little freezer room, but it was well worth it. And I love having just one door to open with lots and lots of fridge space. One of the best appliance purchases we've made for our home.

Door doesn’t close unless you push it closed. We have found it open many times. Not recommended for families with kids.

Sagging shelves and Inferior Quality

After returning a brand new LG Refrigerator because of cooling issues, we bought the GE, based on customer reviews. The new shelves sag, with very little weight on them. The whole unit just feels cheaply made. The ice maker is quite noisy when it is functioning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The shelves are tested for 35 pounds per square foot; full width shelves shouldn't exceed 50 pounds total. We hope that information is helpful for you.
