I can’t say enough wonderful things about this refrigerator!!! It keeps our food frozen &/or cold as expected. The ice maker produces a large quantity of cubes throughout the day. We just replaced a factory “lemon” with French doors…. We absolutely love the single door! It’s much better and holds a lot more food. I like the lighting as well. I really wish it came in black slate. SUPERIOR REFRIGERATOR!!! I’m SO happy with this appliance.

Simple Refrigerator - just the basics

I needed a bottom freezer with ice maker and NOTHING ELSE. No sense in paying for things you don't use. This refrigerator was perfect. Plus it is a GE!

This refrig has been horrible since we got it. It runs EXTREMELY loud and constantly freezes up. The repairman has been out several times and has now replaced EVERYTHING and it still is not working properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely Horrific Engineering!

A service tech came out because I believe the door has a manufacturing defect... he tried to tell me it's supposed to be like that because the doir is heavy... lol.
Problem: the door scrapes te bottom of the inside case... even if the door is empty and has been adjusted. There's visible deep grooves at the contact point inside the case. There's an inch at the top iver clearance and zero clearance at the bottom where it scrapes. (Insane engineering). I will never put a GE in any of my homes after I leave this brand new luxury apartment built in TX with all brand new GE appliances, washer, dryer, stove, oven, microwave and refrigerator. I wouldn't want to deal with such incompetence in the home we're building just outside if town in Dallas. These are gorgeous modern luxury apartments... GE is pulling one iver on them saying this is normal. I'm a retired engineer... I know better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Fridge

Love the amount of shelving, and door space. Fits a nice amount for a big family from everyday use to extras such as holidays or celebrations. The freezer is well designed and kid-friendly too!

I really like the looks of this fridge. It fit perfect in my space. Plenty of room in both the cooling compartment and the freezer. Installers from Grand Appliance were cordial & knew what they were doing. Overall good experience.
