Our new GE refrigerator was installed a month ago and is a great improvement over our previous non-GE unit. Making plenty of ice, freezes food quickly and does not run nearly as much as our previous unit. Very happy we moved to GE.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very spacious, quiet, and maintains temperature equally in every corner of the fridge and freezer.
Some reviews mentioned that it's loud, and the only times that I heard it do something is when it was flipping the ice into the bucket which is very normal.

love the quantity of ice it makes. the only minor downside to the ice is that they're almost always paired and have to break them down when I only need just one ice cube.

Replacement refrigerator

Refrigerator temperatures vary from 32 degrees to 39 degrees. That's a wide range but is appears to be the norm nowadays. Door shelves are very thin and vulnerable to breakage. This machine is much deeper in interior and exterior depth than the machine it replaced. I have very good quality water so I ordered the water filter bypass from GE. Is is free for the asking.
