Solution for Refrigerator Next to a Wall

This is my first bottom drawer freezer, refrigerator. I love it. It's really easy to see all my food. I also like that the bins on the door are clear and are wide. This really makes it easy to see items and provides a lot of storage. It's also very quiet. Since there is just one door on top, it's a perfect solution if your refrigerator is placed next to a wall. I previously had a side by side and wasn't able to totally open the door that was next to my wall.

So far, so good. We had a fridge from when we moved into our first and only home (11/1984). This is a Silver model that shows minimum finger prints. Fridge on top, freezer on bottom. We chose NOT to get any water features, as I work in insurance. That's all I'll say about that.

QUESTIONABLE FEATURES!

The Refrigerator door does NOT swing close HANDS-FREE automatically on it's own, there is a 2 inch gap of open space, if the door is not propelled with enough momentum. (When using two hands to retrieve a heavy dish from refrigerator, the door will not close HANDS-FREE ON IT'S OWN!)
The ICE MAKER ON/OFF button is NOT easily identifiable, and NOT in an easy accessible spot!
The ON/OFF button needs to be in (BLACK LETTERING) to be distinguishable and identifiable!

When not in use, the Refrigerator makes various occasional operational NOISES from (low humming sound, to a low buzzing sound)
Not sure why, don't know if that's normal? I'm always on guard thinking something is about to MALFUNCTION!

I prefer a more QUIET appliance! (Is the quiet feature only offered on your more High-end appliance?)

Love the 33" GE refrigerator. It fits my older townhome kitchen perfectly. The only thing I wish it had was interior side lighting and not just the single light at the top. The light has to go through the the glass shelves preventing you from using shelf liner to protect the glass.
I would recommend this to a friend!
