Great beautiful fridge. Love the amount of room. The only feature I wasn't happy about was how the freezer drawer opens. It seems like you can't open the drawer all the way out and the top drawer gets stuck
We have had GE refrigerators for years and have been very pleased in the past. However, the current one we had to buy quickly because the 2012 GE died on a Saturday. We had to wait for the work week to look into a new fridge. The place I have always gone for my GE refrigerators had one but not on the floor so I didn't get to see the inside of it. I bought it anyway because we needed to get it delivered and all of our stuff out of the ice chests. GE should have stuck to the design of the 2012 model. The shelves were a split shelf situation which gave more options for placement according to how we needed the inside of the fridge to fit our things. The new fridge and the old fridge are supposed to be the same cubic feet but the bins in this new one are much smaller and hold less. The single shelves in the new one seem deeper so things get lost in the back. I definitely don't like the fact that the top tray in the freezer pulls out with the bottom one when you open the freezer door. I'm guessing it's to make the ice more easily accessible but you don't want ice every time that you get into the freezer. This feature is a nuisance. I have looked at other refrigerator options since I bought this new one to see if perhaps there is a refrigerator out there that I might have liked better. Having the pressure of needing a new fridge RIGHT NOW didn't help the situation. I noticed that the French door GE had better options with the interior than the single door GE does. Not everyone wants a French door fridge. You always end up having to open both sides of the fridge to ultimately find what you are looking for. It's annoying which is why we didn't want to buy one. The single door on top make so much more sense and is easier to use.

Nice fridge. Cooling comes from the top so everything gets frozen on the top shelf but if you turn the temp up the bottom shelf and bins aren’t cold enough. Louder than I was expecting when it’s cooling. Cools more than I was expecting even when not opening it very much. You have to make sure to close it hard otherwise it flys open. The thing I dislike most is the freezer. When you open it the top shelf comes out with it. When you push back the top shelf in the freezer it doesn’t go back very far and is very clunky and loud when pushing both in. It’s very loud and irritating. We needed this fridge asap since ours kicked the bucket last minute so for the most part it’s a working cheap fridge.
