The deep door space gives plenty of room for milk, juices, condiments. This stainless exterior doesn't seem to have the high quality that my last GE refrigerator.
I bought this a month ago and I'm not all that impressed. I thought it would run less than my 30 year old unit it replaced but it appears that is not the case. Also, the freezer does not get my milk as cold when I leave it in for an hour. My old one would have ice crystals in the milk after 1/2 hour!
I just love my new fridge! The lighting inside is so wonderfully bright! The shelves are easy to clean and adjust to where I need them to be spaced. Plenty of storage on the door. And there sure is a ton of space inside! Surface wipes down easily to remove finger prints. The freezer on the bottom is a great feature too...I just love my new appliance!
I've had and loved this refrigerator for several months now. The pros are: great temperature management keeping foods at an adjustable 35 to 40 degrees (measured with thermometers), turbo cooling feature is great when bringing in fresh groceries, excellent filtered ice production, hugh upper cabinet, new interest in cooking since foods are at eye level (NO MORE STANDING ON MY HEAD TO DIG OUT FOODS!). My only 2 complaints are: finger prints on the face and the door seems to catch right before it closes (I understand why a door alarm is included). I would have paid more for no fingerprints. All in all I would definitely buy this again.
My parents bought a GE unit in 1962 (54 years) on their wedding day. I hope to get at least half that many years out of this unit. Our old unit (not a GE) moaned and groaned day and night. This GE unit is quite and much more spacious and 1 cubic foot smaller. Ice maker produces a good ice cube that last longer than our previous ice cubes in our Orca cups. Had to scotch the wheels to keep the unit from rolling when pull on the door to open. Only had one week but so far so good.
