New addition to my home

My refrigerator upon arrival look beautiful I found it very easy to maneuver my GE refrigerator in to position within the kitchen. I did have to reverse the refrigerator door, GE has made the process of reversing the door so simple and easy to do by yourself with only a few tools.

Not for a quiet environment

Model GDE25ESKSS has nice features, such as capacity, lighting, storage for gallon products, stable cooling, and looks. However, the "woodpecker within" noise, is an annoying, uncorrectable Damper/Air tower design issue that in our quiet living arrangement overrides the other great features. A person living in an environment such as a quiet mountain cabin where reading is preferred over continuous TV or music or noisy children will be treated with hearing a pair (within 5 seconds of each other) of 8-10 (actually a few were greater than 20) rapid knocks when the air exchange begins and another pair or more when it ends that sounds like a woodpecker pecking on the other side of your house . Those in other environments may never hear every incident and be perfectly happy with the refrigerator. In our case, having to live with it is not desirable but required. We were also not happy with the newest ice make part in this model which does not have an on/off electric switch as in previous versions and which no longer provides a backup to turn off the ice maker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the capacity for smaller space

Bought home with 35 inch hole for fridge. This is great fridge with lots of room for groceries. The freezer seems small but it is ver functional and makes ice on hand when I need it

I love how spacious the fridge section is! Easy to keep organized and see everything. Love how much space there is on the door too - removes all the clutter inside the fridge! I wish the freezer was set up a little differently, but once we get used to it it will be fine.

I like the top fridge that is roomy and easy to find things with the lighting; I like the option to shut off the water and ice dispenser which I did do; would be nice if you could order this size without those features; also would have liked having other options instead of just stainless steel finish. So far very satisfied with product and delivery.

This was one of the few bottom freezer full-size single door refrigerators that we found. We compromised slightly because there's no ice and water dispenser, however the ice maker works very well. There is a warning signal if the doors are not closed, which is good and we haven't had any mechanical problems with this model since it was approximately 6 months ago in July 2020. Plenty of space for a family of four. I like the wide deep shelving in the door and the produce drawers are big enough to hold plenty of fruit and veg.

With the limited space I have for a refrigerator, my options were limited. But this one fit the bill great. Plenty of refrigerator and freezer space. Ice maker is a great option, just wish it had a water dispenser inside the frig.
