We decided on another GE refrigerator to replace a GE that only lasted less than 8 years in our house . Very surprised of how the build quality of this fridge is compared to the one we replaced . More plastic , bins are not as well made especially in the bottom freezers case ...the basket is flimsy and not as convenient . when opening the bottom freezer both drawers come out at once as if they are attached but they are in fact individual pieces , so you must push the top back and get to the bottom freezers bin . Not at all like the models of 8 years ago ..Also this refrigerator is noisey , surprised us on how many different noises a refrigerator can make ...we have a 18 cubic foot Amana in our basement and you don't even hear it run ...and it is almost 40 yrs. old All in all its very likely we would not buy another GE product after this .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love that the refrigerator is on top and the freezer is on the bottom. Doesn't make it so tempting for the dog to get his head in the fridge! And there soooooooooooo much storage!

So convenient for the aging back

It's only been just shy of a month but so far I'm very happy with my new GE bottom-freezer fridge. No more back-stressing foraging to find something at the back of the lowest shelf. Temperature controls are so easy to see. First time ever having separate controls for fridge & freezer. Turbo chill is a great option too. The only suggestion I have is to provide a split shelves.

I love this refrigerator! The refrigerator door is spacious and everything in the refrigerator is so easy to see. The freezer is very convenient because the drawers pull out and I am able to assess everything with ease! GE this refrigerator is a Winner for me!
